#1507 is an walnut Early Virginia Model with a spalted poplar top and handmade cleat frets. It is similar to dulcimers made along the Great Philadelphia Wagon Road in the 1700's. This one is strung up with the same gauge strings (.012") all tuned to the same note.
If tuned to D it can be played in D and G without retuning.
A wild turkey wing feather "switch" and ebony noter came with it.
